Schedule for the day:
8 – 10:30 AM: Kids First Fund pancake breakfast at the First National Bank Walnut Room (corner of 2nd St. and Walnut)
9 – 9:45 AM: Kids Dress-up Parade from Walnut Room to Musser Public Library for a children’s program. Organized by Musser Public Library
4:40 PM: 5K Run/Walk start. Check-in begins at 3:40 PM. Starts and ends on the riverfront and runs on parade route
5:00 PM: Community parade (starts at 6th St. and Iowa Ave.)
7:30 PM: Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Presentation of Colors in front of Pearl City Station
8:00 PM: Muscatine Symphony Orchestra in front of Pearl City Station
9:30 PM: GMCCI Chevy Spark Car raffle drawing in front of Pearl City Station
Fireworks will immediately follow the car raffle drawing.
Be sure to visit the riverfront before and after the parade for food and drink vendors.
