DESCRIPTION:Please join GMCCI on Thursday\, May 16 from Noon to 2 p.m. at the ISU Extension Office\, 1514 Isett Avenue\, Muscatine\, for a presentation on Employers Finding Value in Older Workers.  \n\n \n\nThis will be presented by: Catherine Pratscher-Woods\, Assistant Director and Senior Employment Program Director\, Sandy Tinker\, Lead Employment Specialist and Peggy Dykes\, Community Relations Director all from Generations Area Agency on Aging.\n\n \n\nTopics that will be discussed:\n\n\n	\n		Older workers returning to the workforce   it's not a whim\, but a necessity   facts and statistics.\n	\n		An explanation of the Senior Community Services Employment Program   what it can do for older workers\, host agencies and for profit employers.\n	\n		Examples of what this program has done for Muscatine businesses and how it has changed the lives of older workers.\n	\n		Advocacy for the Older Workers Award Ceremony.\n	\n		The nuts and bolts of how the system works   how they can help you.\n	\n		Final overview of other Generation programs\, plus Q&A\n\n \n\nLunch will be provided for a suggested $5 donation.
